Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing
In the case of an application, we require your data for the purposes of the application
process, contract initiation, and contract execution, as well as, if necessary, for
legal purposes.
What Data is Used
IIoT-Cybersecurity GmbH collects and processes the personal data you provide in your
application, such as personal data (e.g., first name, last name, name suffixes), contact
details (e.g., private address, email address, mobile/telephone numbers), professional
background and educational path, language skills and other job-related skills, date of
birth, gender, and other personal and professional information from your application
electronically and exclusively for processing the application.
Data Security and Processing
Due to a separate agreement on the processing of personal data, your data will be
collected, processed, and used by Strato as part of order data processing in accordance
with § 11 BDSG on our behalf. However, this does not involve the transmission of your
personal data to third parties within the meaning of data protection law.
Data Storage and Deletion
We store the personal data concerning you in our systems so that it can be identified
only as long as necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or further
processed.
If no employment contract is concluded with you, the application documents will be
automatically deleted no later than six months after the notification of the decision,
provided that no other legitimate interests of the responsible party oppose the
deletion, such as an obligation to provide evidence in a procedure under the General
Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
If we are unable to offer you a position at the moment but, based on your profile,
believe that your application may be of interest to IIoT-Cybersecurity GmbH at a later
time, we will obtain your consent to store your data in our applicant pool for 24
months. This allows us to contact you again at a later date and make you an offer. After
the agreed period, your personal data will be automatically deleted from the applicant
pool.
If you do not wish to be included in our pool, your data will be automatically deleted
within six months after the completion of the specific application process.
You can revoke your consent to storage in the applicant pool at any time by sending an

deletion.
